Both Tom Brennan and Sam Hagon have been named in the Team GB international sides with Brennan seeking a second gold medal in the SON and British U21 champion Hagon drafted into the SON2 GB squad.
Brennan joins Robert Lambert and Dan Bewley in a combination that in 2021 defied the loss of three-time Speedway GP world champion Tai Woffinden to injury to give GB a World team championship success for the first time in 32 years.
Woffinden and Ellis are also named in the five man squad, from which team managers Ollie Allen and Simon Stead will have to select three riders for the final, to which Team GB, as host nation, are seeded to.
Hagon has been nominated by Neil Vatcher in the five man Great Britain side to contest the SON2, which will be an eight-nation competition staged over 28 heats, for the first time in the sport's history, on Friday July 12th. Brothers Joe and Dan Thompson have been named alongside FIM SGP2 rider Leon Flint and Oxford's Ashton Boughen.
Poland, Germany, Latvia, Czech Republic, Sweden, Australia and Denmark are the other seven nations.
