JUBILEE DATES FINALISED

Poole and Leicester have now agreed dates for the Jubilee Final, held over from the 2022 season and the two ties will be contested next month (May)
 

Leicester will host the opening leg on Saturday 13th May with the Pirates staging the concluding fixture on Wednesday 31st May

Poole promoter Dan Ford  explains "Trying to work out dates between two clubs in different league had proved a bit more difficult than we would have liked and we therefore want to apologise to supporters for the delay, as initially we had hoped for this to be the 2023 curtain raiser. But, both ourselves and Leicester were determined to stage these outstanding fixtures particularly as there is silverware hanging out its outcome, and we believe our supporters deserve to see last season's competition concluded.
"It has been agreed that teams will be based on the 2023 Championship limits which means that we can field our current side and Leicester will build a side to the 40 point maximum and we just know that Stewart Dixon will be assembling a tough team for us to take on."
"With the staging dates selected it does mean that Leicester will be able to ride on a Saturday night and hopefully with it being a weekend many of our fans will be able to get behind the lads and make us proud with a good turnout at Beaumont Park, in much the same fashion as they did last season when we rode there."
