Poole Speedway have been buoyed by the news that they will once again carry the name of locally based boat dealer Wessex Marine, as they head into the 2026 season.
Long-time backers of the club and speedway in general have been alongside the Pirates' success that has seen the club scoop four league titles in the past five seasons.
Co-promoter Dan Ford announced the extension of the association, claiming "We are absolutely delighted that Wessex Marine are continuing as our title sponsors. They have been fantastic supporters of the Pirates for many years and their commitment to the club has been unwavering."
"David and Guy (Adams) are true speedway people and brilliant backers of riders at all levels, from those just starting out in their careers, right through to Grand Prix stars. Their support goes far beyond sponsorship, and having Wessex Marine alongside us again is hugely important as we look ahead to another exciting season."
