Poole's visit to the ECCO Arena on Sunday 5th October, to face the Redcar Bears, will now become the first leg of the MaxiCab Knockout Cup with the second leg following next Wednesday (8th) at Wimborne Road.
Dan Ford, Poole promoter explains, "this switch will allow us to complete the Knockout cup competition within the next week and we will be shortly be able to confirm the new date for the Cab Direct Championship Play-off semi-final. The way the line-ups for the finals have materialised, all three will involve two of the same three clubs, ourselves, Redcar and Glasgow, which obviously makes it a logistical nightmare as we head into the last month of the season with no silverware yet decided."
