CAPTAIN COOK SAILS BACK IN

Bright Australian prospect, Fraser Bowes (23) and 2024 title winner with the Poole Pirates, Vinnie Foord will join the roster of Poole Blue Riband riders on Wednesday (24th September 19:30).
Both have been riding for the Workington Comets this season and Bowes recorded a thirteen point score on his first appearance at Wimborne Road, back in July, a total that might have been even greater had he not suffered a third ride retirement. Foord is a naturally exciting rider and won over the hearts of most Poole fans when he signed up for the Pirates last term.
"I'm delighted to have both Fraser and Vinnie joining our event on Wednesday. Fraser has generally ridden well beyond his 5-point assessed average that he was burdened with at the start of the season as his debut here proved, and with Vinnie you just know there are going to be some heart-in-the-mouth moments as all he wants to do is just race and race."
"I feel the line-up is shaping up well with riders all capable of getting out and scoring points off one another, so hopefully it will be a tight affair."
Tickets for the event are still available and can be purchased on-line, with a reminder that season tickets are not valid for this meeting.
