NOTICE TO TICKET HOLDERS: STADIUM PROTOCOLS

8/06/21

Supporters attending the Pirates return to racing on Wednesday are reminded of the added protocols that will be in place to ensure the Club can observe in full the added Covid-19 compliance regulations.

Promoter Dan Ford explains the procedures. "We will be opening the doors at 6pm and we would strongly advise against supporters queuing before that time. The earlier opening time will allow for fans to take up their allotted vantage points. Ticket holders for the east grandstand or turns one and two should gain entrance through the East grandstand, with the west side main entrance reserved for restaurant area viewers and those with tickets for turns three and four. On arrival, temperature checks will be made and either scan the track and trace app or provide their address details. Tickets will be scanned at the turnstiles, where there will be an opportunity to purchase programmes (£3.00 please bring exact change), be mindful of that we are not permitted to have any catering facilities and outlets open in the stadium for this meeting. This is not of our choosing and we can only apologise to supporters for this.

"Fans will then be shown to their areas by the officials that we have on hand. Seats will be labelled with your name, whilst standing areas will be clearly numbered and correlate with that shown on your tickets. Supporters are reminded that there is no free roaming around the stadium. Once you have been directed to your area then please stay within your groups in that area, other than of course for visiting the toilet facilities.

"There is no public admittance to the pits area either before or after the meeting and it is important that facemasks are worn at all times, unless you are exempt from having to do so in which case you will need to provide evidence.

"Co-operation of our supporters in ensuring that these regulations are observed is critical and we would ask all fans to have consideration for others throughout the meeting."

"Finally, I would remind supporters who have not been able to purchase a ticket to attend on Wednesday night, that we are live-streaming the meeting and viewing passes can be purchased from www.poole-speedway.com/pirates-tv at a price of £9.95.
