Zach Cook

Starting his second season as Captain of the Pirates, Zach has played a pivotal role in much of Poole's success in recent seasons. 
Although only becoming a fully fledged Pirate in 2022, Zach featured in the 2021 play-offs semi-final and final as a guest for Stefan Nielsen. 
He joined brother Ben as a permanent Pirate the following year, and the two lads from Cowra, New South Wales struck up a solid partnership over the course of three seasons, before Ben stepped away from Championship racing and handed the captain's role to his younger brother last year.
Zach featured in the dramatic Super heat title decider at Glasgow last October, a race that will live forever in the minds of Poole fans.
