SPONSORS MERIDIAN LIFTS

30/09/15

Poole Speedway would like to apologise to our Grand Final Meeting sponsors, Meridian Lifts, for an error in last night's programme that led to the 'sponsors' profle'  article being incorrectly published. The correct article is reproduced below:-

So, 2015 sees the Pirates finishing top of the Elite League and once again in the Grand Final for the famous silverware.

Like all Pirates fans, we are hoping it’s going to be three on the trot.

When asked to write something for the programme, I decided not to do the standard company blurb. Hopefully after all this time, you all know about me, Andy and Meridian Lifts…if not, check out www.meridianlifts.co.uk!

When I saw Matt at the end of August, I said ‘Of course Meridian are sponsoring the final!’, just as we have for the past two years.

Last Wednesday while watching the semi-final, I typed a text to Matt but it was not until heat 9 that I sent a message ‘So, I’m pencilling in the 30th?’ By heat 12, I had my reply, and here we are.

We are so proud of everything Matt, Giles, Gordon, Neil and the team have achieved over the years and also of our association with Poole Speedway.

Monday night saw us make our final trip to Kirkmanshulme Lane before the Aces move to the National Speedway Stadium (the one without the roof) and, writing this prior to the meeting, all I can say is our fingers are crossed and good luck for a safe and great meeting #piratepride

Now back at Wimborne Road and in true Pirate form, we say let battle commence!

On a final note, we here at Meridian Lifts wish Darcy the very best on his road to recovery and we’re here if we can help. #DW43 #staystrong

Joanne & Andy Tomlin,

Meridian Lifts Ltd

As a club we wholeheartedly appreciate the support and backing of all our sponsors and thank Meridian Lifts for sponsoring the Grand Final and being part of the club's magnificent achievement.
