NEAR BARREN NIGHTS FOR PIRATES

29/03/16

The ReadyPower Pirates face a barren week of team action with no meetings this week.

Their scheduled trip to Belle Vue Manchester now having been deferred to the 27th April.

Originally the Pirates were heading to the newest stadium in speedway this coming Wednesday but that trip to Belle Vue has now been deferred to the 27th April after growing concerns  with the suitability of the newly laid circuit led to an early decision to reschedule the meeting, leaving the gap in the Pirates' fixtures.

But Dane Hans Andersen will take to track in the Elite league when he covers for the unavailable Krzysztof Kasprzak in the Coventry Bees team that visit Swindon on Thursday night, whilst impressive reserve Adam Ellis, who banked his maiden Elite league maximum in Pirates' Good Friday drubbing of Swindon, will have action in the UK this week however, as he has been booked by the Leicester Lions when they visit Lakeside on Friday night.

Lakeside will be the Pirates next opponents as they are due at Wimborne Road on Wednesday 6th April  with the Poole side keen to maintain their excellent start to the season.
