Poole fans start filling your diaries, the Wessex Marine Pirates' fixtures have been released!
Poole captain Maciej Janowski opened his 2015 British speedway season with a third place finish in the Elite League Riders' Championship staged at Leicester on Saturday evening.
With four winning rides following a first outing third place Janowski took the direct route to the four man final along with King's Lynn representative Niels-Kristiaan Iversen, where they fought out a furios batte behind eventual winner Jason Doyle (Leicester) who along with defending champion Troy Btatchelor (Swindon), had to comet hrough a twice started semi-final which was eventually awarded.
Just missing out on a place in that semi-final was Poole's other representative Chris Holder who missed the cut scoring 8 points from his five heat outings.
Janowski and Iversen will renew their rivalry when King's Lynn visit Wimborne Road on Wednesday night (7.30pm) as Poole host the first leg of the Elite Shield as their season opener.
