BSN SERIES FINAL MOVED TO FRIDAY

It only took eleven heats of the second leg of the BSN series final to guarantee that the Matt Ford/Neil Middleditch era would be celebrating their twenty ninth team trophy, and both admitted that they were 'overjoyed' with the achievement.
Speaking from his French base, club owner Matt claimed "I cannot begin to tell you how proud this makes me. I am so happy. I might not have been at the track physically but was there in spirit, as I am every match and watching the boys get the job done was great. They are so good and hopefully there is more to come."
Team manager Middlo claimed "It's always nice to win a trophy. This competition started in the early weeks of the season and I was just pleased that we had a good racing surface tonight with the weather being kind. I think we all saw the difficult conditions at Belle Vue in the first leg of the Premiership caused by the weather. Hopefully we will have another good one on Saturday when we go to Oxford in the first leg of our Grand Final, so that we can go there and do our best. I love winning trophies with Poole. I didnt do too well as a rider but, well, as a manager it has not been too bad. I love the job. I've been doing it for a long time now and I never get tired of winning"
Ben Cook celebrated his return to action after a concussion lay-off with a faultless four ride maximum whilst number one Richard Lawson maintained his unbeaten tag in the BSN Series Final with another paid maximum. Sunday's maximum man Zach Cook only dropped a point, to Leon Flint, in a re-run fifth heat after he was sat on a 5-1 with his brother Ben during the first running which was stopped when Simon Lambert fell. Tom Brennan was another double figure scorer and he too had just one defeat, that to late guest Jake Mulford, who stood in for Paul Starke who had been scheduled to cover for Scunthorpe's bright star of the future Luke Harrison. The Scorpions were forced into a further change with expectant father Kyle Howarth unavailable with rider replacement covering his absence.
Undoubtedly the hard word was done on Sunday by achieving a comprehensive sixteen point away win but the Pirates refused to ease off the gas and racked up a 57-33 victory to secure the trophy with an aggregate score of 110-70.
