JINXED FOORD MISSES SCORPIONS CONTESTS

Poole have been forced into a late line-up change for Wednesday's meeting against Scunthorpe in the SGB Cab Direct Championship, with Vinnie Foord ruled out through a shoulder injury.

The ever-improving Poole reserve damaged his shoulder competing in the NDL Series meeting at Leicester on Sunday, which has proved something of a jinxed event for the teenager as he also sustained a hand injury when riding in Poole's event, earlier in the season.

Ben Trigger will be drafted in for the home fixture against second placed Scunthorpe on Wednesday and with Foord, who is visiting a specialist on Tuesday, expected to miss the return meeting at Scunthorpe on Friday night, Jacob Hook has been booked to cover.
