HAGON DRAWN FOUR IN U21 FINAL

11/05/24

Sam Hagon's hopes of being crowned British U21 champion will be awakened in the opening heat of the British U21 Final on June 2nd at Glasgow, having been drawn at number four in the line-up.

Hagon who booked his place in the final with an immaculate maximum in the semi-final round at Plymouth will face Ashton Boughen, Ben Trigger and Max James in heat one but then will come up against the in-form Dan Thompson in his second outing (heat eight). His third ride pitches him against home rider Leon Flint and former Pirate Nathan Ablitt, and then he faces a clash with Vinnie Foord, who finished second in the semi-final. Sam's main antagonist in his final heat is likely to be 2023 Poole recruit Joe Thompson, one of the six seeded riders in the final.
