Following today's early call to postpone the scheduled Poole v Birmingham SGB Cab Direct Championship meeting, the two clubs have worked speedily in rearranging the fixture for Wednesday 30th August at 7.30pm.
Poole boss Dan Ford said "I am grateful to the Birmingham management for working with us to get a revised date for this meeting in the diary as quickly as possible and we can only hope now that we have fair weather for the rest of this month, as all the remaining Wednesdays ahead of the play-off cut-off date are now filled with fixtures, starting next week with Edinburgh (2nd), then Oxford (9th), Redcar (16th), Glasgow (23rd) and Birmingham (30th)"
Along with those home meetings the Pirates also find themselves on the road, starting with a trip to Glasgow on Sunday (30th July) followed by a swift return to Scotland on Friday 4th August when they visit Edinburgh, with Berwick the destination the following night. Then they are at Scunthorpe on the 11th. In addition the Pirates are still waiting to see whether it will be Scunthorpe or Redcar as their KO Cup final opponents.
