GRAND FINAL TRANSFERRED TO NORFOLK

2/11/22

The concluding leg of the SGB Championship Grand Final has now been switched to King's Lynn on Friday 4th November, with agreement of both Poole clubs and the governing body, BSPL, after it became evident that the Leicester track, inspite of the efforts of their track crew and assistance from Keith Chapman, has still not dried out suitably and with further rain forecast, it was felt there was no chance of it being not rideable.

Poole promoter Dan Ford, acknowledging the problems Leicester have experienced with their track and the weather, admitted "Obviously it is not ideal situation for the final to be run at a neutral venue and we genuinely feel for Leicester as they have tried their very best to bring the track into a rideable condition only to be foiled by the elements. All parties are keen to get the title decided without short-changing the fans, and hopefully our supporters will understand and that a number of them will be able to make the trip so that we have a good following at Adrian Flux Arena as we take on the challenge of defending our eight-point advantage"

Friday's meeting will start at 7pm
