Poole Speedway are planning to celebrate the school holidays when they complete their league fixtures on Wednesday night at Wimborne Road, and are applying special admission prices for the meeting.
Announcing the tariffs of £10 for Adults/OAPs & Concessions, £6 for Students with under sixteens benefitting from FREE admission, promoter Dan Ford explained "it is our intention to make it a vibrant family atmosphere here on Wednesday and we are hoping to see many new faces attending. We are planning lots of side attractions to support the main event. We will be starting with an autograph session which all our riders will attend and provide the chance for selfies, between the third and fourth turns. We will be giving away free posters which the riders will be happy to sign and we will be opening the gates at the earlier time of 6pm to accommodate this meet and greet session, which will run through until 6.30pm. But anyone who misses out on during that time there will be a further opportunity after the meeting in the Champs Bar
"We have a newly stocked trackshop with a wide range of merchandise and we will also be giving away free whistles to the first 200 kids, which obviously we hope will orchestrate a special wall of sound to add that extra bit of encouragement for the team as we prepare to sign off the regular league programme with a victory."
"We will also be hosting a free kids face painting service and above all we are offering very special admission prices, with Adults, OAPs, and concessions at £10, Students £6 and under sixteens absolutely free (when accompanied by a paying adult).
"We are in the middle of the school holidays and everyone knows that speedway is a fabulous family sport so there is no better time for us to celebrate that fact than next Wednesday night. "
