RECALLED Pirate Stefan Nielsen is keen to do his bit to help the club add to their glittering honours list this season.
Nielsen switched to Wimborne Road from Scunthorpe during the winter after the Pirates switched leagues from the Premiership, thus linking up again with the club with whom he briefly rode for in 2018 before injury curtailed that experience.
He told British Speedway’s social media: “I’m pleased to be a part of Poole in the Championship. I want to play my part in helping the club win the league.
“I’ve always looked at Poole as one of the top clubs in the sport, you only have to look at all the trophies they’ve won in the last 10 years.”
