REF HOST MIDDLO AND FRIENDS EVENING

Poole Speedway's Riders Equipment Fund will be staging their next Social evening with something of a difference on Wednesday 18th March at Poole Stadium. 
 

Headlined "Middlo and friends" the evening will be  introduced by Pirates Presenter Nigel Leahy,  and will feature the man himself talking openly about his many years in the sport including riding for the Pirates prior to his team manager duties, as he embarks on his 22nd season  as the inspirational team boss. 

No doubt there will be plenty to recall including working with some of the world's best riders and managing Team GB. 

The evening will begin with renowned International speedway mechanic Bart Ostrowski giving an insight into a speedway machine and the intricacies of achieving the much sought after ‘perfect’ set up.  

It’s sure to be an intriguing start to the evening as Bart was instrumental in keeping Chris Holder and Darcy Ward in great mechanical shape for The Pirates and in the GPs. 

In the second half of the evening Middlo will be joined on stage by former Pirate John Davis which is guaranteed to produce plenty of memorable moments! 

The REF organisers are also hoping that a couple of the 2020 Pirates may  drop in too so its a great chance to enjoy an informal evening which will benefit Middlo’s Testimonial and the Riders Equipment Fund in equal measure. 

The event that will be held in the west Grandstand (glass building) gets underway at 7.30pm with admission prices REF Members £4 and non-REF members £5.
