PRESS DAY BUILD UP

2/03/20

With less than 20 days to the launch of the 2020 Pirates' season, Press and Practice Day plans are at an advanced stage.

As the club embark on a new chapter in its illustrious history, co-promoter Danny Ford is insistent that the desire for success is as strong as it has ever been. "We have spent the winter building what we feel is a very good team to kick-start our SGB Championship era. It might be a league lower than we have been used to but it is an extremely competitive league for sure and I know that the riders themselves are as keen as I am on making it a title winning side.

"We will be holding our Press and Practice Day on Friday 20th March which, as in previous years, will be a two-staged event, commencing with the introduction of the team to invited members of the Press, club sponsors and our season ticket holders. The team will take to the stage at 1pm and after the interviews we will hold a photo-call session.

"From just after 3pm we will open up to the general public so that they can see the riders put themselves through their paces on track for a couple of hours.
"It is a day I am really looking forward, as I am sure many fans are too, as it always signals the start of the season.
