Not Wells Ricky Withdraws from Pirates Action

8/09/19

Poole have been forced into a late team change for this week's double dose of action against King's Lynn with reserve Ricky Wells undergoing treatment for a shoulder complaint.

The Pirates head to Norfolk on Monday with Tero Aarnio stepping into the breach whilst Ryan Douglas will deputise on Thursday in the return fixture at Wimborne Road.

Poole boss Matt Ford explained "I received a call from Ricky on Sunday night advising that he was in need for treatment on his troublesome shoulder that he has been riding with since just before he joined us. Hopefully he will soon become pain-free and back with us and fully fit.
