REIGNING SGB Premiership champions the No1 Carpet Cleaning Poole Pirates have unveiled two new promoters ahead of the club’s 2019 title defence.
Owner Matt Ford confirmed son Danny Ford and Bournemouth-based digital marketing company director Anthony Tilley have joined the club.
Anthony, 41, is a director of the Bespoke 4 Business agency, while Danny, 24, is a senior project manager at the marketing firm.
Ford said: “I’m delighted to bring both Anthony and Dan on board at Poole Speedway. Both have a huge amount of knowledge to bring to the table and Anthony, in particular, has already helped to secure our new main sponsors No1 Carpet Cleaning.
“Dan has been part of Poole Speedway ever since I purchased the club in 1998. As a youngster, he was fascinated by the sport and has a wealth of knowledge to draw on from 20 years of coming to the club.
“He’s as passionate about the sport as I am and wants to help drive it forward, so he will be learning a lot over the next few months about how the club is run.
“I’m confident both Anthony and Dan will bring a lot to the club as we embark on a huge season attempting to defend the title we won in such dramatic style in 2018. I’m hugely excited to be working with them both.”
