ROWE RULES RIBAND

Patrons planning to attend Wednesday night's first REF social evening of the close season are advised that the event will now be held in main glass grandstand at Poole Stadium and not the Champs Bar as originally stated.
The organisers have made the switch after initial interest in the evening, which will feature the video of the club's Platinum Anniversary Dinner, suggested that the turnout could be greater than anticipated, as co-organiser Nigel Leahy explains "I've been overwhelmed by the amount of interest in the evening which amounts to being a virtual "This Is Your Life" of Poole Speedway and I wanted to make the evening as comfortable as possible for those attending and so decided to switch it to the glass grandstand at the stadium to provide us with more room. The Anniversary dinner was a highly emotional gala evening with highs, lows, tears and celebrations of Pirates history and achievements and to close out the 2018 season with a league title was the icing on the cake of a memorable Platinum year."
The REF event takes place on Wednesday (14th November) at 7.30pm with tickets for REF Members at £4 and non-members £5
