PIRATES DECLINE PREMIERSHIP KO CUP INVITATION
Poole Speedway has made the decision not to participate in the 2025 Premiership Knockout Cup. While the invitation was both unexpected and exciting...
Volvo Cars Poole Pirates supporters are being offered the chance to become a VIP for the night when the Pirates take on King’s Lynn on Wednesday.
Thanks to meeting sponsor County Crest Pallets, the first 100 patrons through the turnstiles who buy a programme will receive a FREE draw ticket to present the coveted rider of the night trophy after the meeting.
The lucky winning ticket holder will be allowed in the VIP pit lane, with a partner or guest, during the final heats as well as being able to watch heat 15 from the centre green as they join County Crest’s guests.
They will then personally hand over the trophy to the winning rider on the start line.
The award will be given to the rider who attracts the most votes on a special Twitter poll set up especially for the occasion. All fans can vote for their chosen rider during the meeting, up until the end of heat 13 when the voting closes.
The result will be announced after heat 15 when the presentation takes place. Fans should vote by tweeting the name of their top rider to @poolespeedway using the hashtag #TopPirate.
County Crest Pallets is offering this opportunity after a similar initiative last year and it is a great way to acknowledge those fans that support the club by buying a programme.
Andy Tracey of County Crest Pallets said: “When we did this last year, it brought a lump to my throat to see the sheer happiness and excitement that it brought to the lucky fan that won the draw. It made my day, as much as it did theirs, to see the pleasure it gave them.”
