Richie Worrall has been drawn at number 14 for the British Final to be held at the National Speedway Stadium on June 11th.
The former Belle Vue rider, currently in his second spell as a Poole Pirate, will face stern competition from his former Aces team-mate Craig Cook and three previous champions, Scott Nicholls, Chris Harris and Danny King.
But this week the venue stages the second event of the Speedway of Nations on Tuesday when Cook and Tai Woffinden, himself a former British champion, will be representing GB Speedway Team with Robert Lambert the nominated reserve.
The national side have their sights set firmly on booking their place in the two-day Wroclaw on Friday. Russia, Germany and race-off winners Denmark qualified from Saturday's round at Teterow, Germany and a further three nations will go through from the Manchester event. GB Speedway will be up against Sweden, Australia, Czech Republic, France and Italy.
