Pirates fans can add their memories of speedway legend Ivan Mauger to an online book of condolence.
Mauger passed away at the age of 78 on Monday after a long battle with illness.
The New Zealander, widely regarded as the greatest racer on two wheels, claimed six world titles during a decorated career, standing on the top of the podium in 1968, 1969, 1970, 1972, 1977 and 1979.
Mauger also represented the Wimbledon Dons, Rye House Roosters, Eastbourne Eagles, Newcastle Diamonds, Belle Vue Aces, Exeter Falcons and Hull Vikings in UK speedway.
Set up by Campaign Mauger’s Brian Connolly, the book of condolence has already attracted comments from the likes of Pam and Peter Oakes, Lionel Hoskins, son of Johnnie, Bruce Penhall and a number of Poole supporters.
