PIRATES DECLINE PREMIERSHIP KO CUP INVITATION
Poole Speedway has made the decision not to participate in the 2025 Premiership Knockout Cup. While the invitation was both unexpected and exciting...
Volvo Cars Poole Pirates' lastest Swedish signing, Linus Sundstrom is keen to meet the Poole fans and will be in attendance at their next Social event on the winter calendar.
The Riders Equipment Fund will be holding their February event next Wednesday (7th) at the Champs Bar, Poole Stadium from 7.30pm and as well as having plenty of Speedway questions to answer, as set by MC for the evening, Nigel Leahy, fans will have the opportunity to question Linus on the night.
Poole promoter Matt Ford said "Once we received the green light for the deal to go ahead, a move which incidentally I am really delighted with, Linus expressed his wishes to come across to the UK to sort a few things out. When he learnt that there was a Fans Social evening, being organised by the REF he wanted to very much be a part of it."
"That is what Linus is all about. He is ultra-keen to come and ride for Poole and quickly wants to integrate in to the Speedway Family that we have here. I firmly believe that he is going to be a great asset for the club."
