PIRATES 2018 FIXTURES

The release of the 2018 Fixtures reveals that the first Premiership opponents the Volvo Cars Poole Pirates will face in their Platinum season will be Wolverhampton.

The Pirates, who open their season with the 70th Anniversary meeting on Friday 23rd March, travel to Wolves three days later.

There will be a Good Friday (30th March) knockout cup two-legged tie to contest against Somerset with Poole hosting the first leg in the morning, 11am start, before travelling to the Oak Tree Arena later in the day for a 7.30pm start.

Wolverhampton open the Pirates' home league campaign on April 4th, a month that has six league matches inked in for Poole and could culminate in a Wimborne Road meeting on Thursday 26th April to the mark the anniversary of Poole's first ever meeting 70 years ago.

Poole Speedway will also host the Premiership Riders' Championship on May 9th.
