Poole Speedway has announced a couple of changes to their SGB Championship programme
Skipper Hans Andersen and current number one Brady Kurtz are preparing for a stab at becoming the first ever SGB Premiership Riders Champion this weekend, the event, being staged at Belle Vue.
The two Pirates will be up against each other in heat four of Saturdays' event, joined by Somerset's Josh Grajczonek and King's Lynn's Robert Lambert.
Sixteen riders go to post over 20 qualifying heats with the top two scorers being seeded direct to the winner-take-all Final, where they will be joined by the winner and second of the semi-final which features riders finishing third to sixth after the heats.
Reigning British Champion Craig Cook is sure to be one of the pre-meeting favourites, given that the meeting is being held on his home circuit but no doubt Freddie Lindgren, who won the equivalent competition last season, will be keen to retain his distinction of top rider in top flight British Speedway.
