Poole's forthcoming home meeting against the Somerset Rebels will incorporate a special charity event for local hospice Forest Holme.
Forest Holme is an adult hospice based in Poole, that provides individually tailored and exceptional hospice care.
Their specialist teams help to relieve the suffering of people from across Poole, Wimborne and the Purbecks who are facing a life limiting or terminal illness.
Excellent care is provided in a variety of settings such as; a patient’s home, in nursing homes, care homes, in hospital, or in Forest Holme itself.
Forest Holme staff make sure that they are there not only for their patients but also for the sufferers' loved ones at the most difficult time of their lives.
The Charity night at the stadium will see bucket collectors on the entrances and walking around during the evening, together with the Forest Holme fundraising stall, which will have a range of merchandise, information about the charity and more details on what they do. A raffle will also be run.
Fund organiser Charlie James said "We are hoping it will bring the local community together to raise awareness about the hospice and to hopefully raise some money for such an amazing charity. We are grateful to Poole Speedway for giving us this much valued exposure
