VOLVO CARS POOLE PIRATE's influential reserve Nicolai Klindt has vowed to get back on a bike within the next 3 weeks.
Klindt was involved in a nasty crash in Poland last week in which he sustained concussion and suffered leg injuries.
He revealed through his Twitter account that "I have torn my ACL, partially torn my MCL, torn my meniscus and damaged the cartilage on my tibia"
But he also defied to undergo immediate surgery adding "I believe with the right people and treatment and through daily rehabilitation I will be back on the bike in the next 2 to 3 weeks. My plan is to ride on through the remainder of the season and then look to have the necessary operation during the winter. For now though I need to focus on the rehab".
Klindt missed the Pirates' narrow home win against Wolverhampton and their weekend draw at Leicester, two clubs he has represented in the past. The Pirates now have no fixture until Wednesday 21st June, when they host the Leicester Lions at Wimborne Road.
That could well prove a little too soon for the Dane
