BROTHER JACK CONFIRMED ASSET

12/07/16

Poole boss Matt Ford has confirmed that the club have signed Aussie star Jack Holder.

The Poole promoter has revealed that the younger brother of current Pirate Chris is now a Pirate asset, although it is a move designed for the future rather than the immediate short-term

"I mentioned at our annual Press and Practice Day that  I could picture the next version of the "Turbo Twins" being Brady and Jack and now I can confirm that the deal has been concluded and Jack becomes a full asset, and so I very much feel that the future is bright for Poole Speedway.

"There has been news of the potential stadium development within the next year or two and I am keen to make certain that we can also develop the team too. I see Jack as an integral part of my plans and in bringing him to the club we are creating a good foundation on which to move even further forward.

"I will stress that the addition of Jack to our asset base does not indicate that we will be seeing the Holder siblings in the same team this season, as Jack will continue to gain valuable experience at Premier league level with Plymouth, but who knows what 2017 will bring."
