Newly-appointed vice-captain Kyle Newman will be making a 'guest' appearance at the Pirates shop located in the town centre on Christmas Eve,
Local lad Newman will be at the venue, 14 Kingland Crescent, between 10am and noon to meet and greet any visitors who drop in for what will be the final day of christmas trading at the new venture.
Entrepeneur Matt Ford said "I am pleased that Kyle has agreed to come along to be on hand to meet the shoppers. Operating this 'pop-up' shop has been a great deal of fun and to be honest is something I wish I had done earlier. It has been a real pleasure to have the local public dropping by. Our foot-fall has not just been our fan-base but includes many of the town-folk. The encouraging thing is that amongst those who haven't attended on race-nights there have been so many positive comments about what we, as a club, have achieved down the years."
"When you hear non-regulars singing the praises of the Poole Pirates it is genuinely a great honour and I am proud of everyone associated with the club. The success we have enjoyed has been down to great team-work both on and off the track and I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in that."
The shop will be open until 3pm on Christmas Eve.
