PIRATES DECLINE PREMIERSHIP KO CUP INVITATION
Poole Speedway has made the decision not to participate in the 2025 Premiership Knockout Cup. While the invitation was both unexpected and exciting...
Gorzow championship winning team member Adrian Cyfer is keen to make a good impression when he turns out for Friday's Blue Riband event at Wimborne Road.
Poole boss Matt Ford claimed "Adrian is a rider who is rapidly gaining a big reputation and he has been recommended to me by Krystian Plech who I have worked closely with in recent seasons. Krysztian has advised me that Adrian is now ready to broaden his horizons and is keen to try out a British career and so with our big individual event taking place on Friday it made sense to invite Adrian along so that we can cast our eye over this budding talent.
21 year old Cyfer has been a Gorzow regular, first riding for the 2016 Extraliga champions back in 2011 and will be considered a 'senior' rider under Polish rules in 2017. It is believed that he is weighing up his options, with Polonia Pila having shown some interest in him despite a personal confession that "the 2016 campaign was a tough one which I quickly want to put behind me as at times I was far from my best" according to reports from sportowefakty.pl
The showroom opportunity on Friday is therefore a perfect opening for Cyfer who joins:
Hans Andersen,Troy Batchelor, Krzysztof Buczkwoski,Adam Ellis,Kacper Gomolski,Chris Harris, Frederick Jacobsen, Marcin Nowak,Nick Morris, Kyle Newman, Scott Nicholls, Bjarne Pedersen (if fit), Adam Skornicki, Szymon Wozniak, Grzegorz Zengota
in the line-up.
