PIRATES DECLINE PREMIERSHIP KO CUP INVITATION
Poole Speedway has made the decision not to participate in the 2025 Premiership Knockout Cup. While the invitation was both unexpected and exciting...
Chris Holder and Kyle Newman will be the 'ReadyPower' Pirates' representatives in Saturday's Elite League Riders' Championship.
Holder will be one of four GP riders in the line-up that are bidding to become the ELR Champion at Coventry (7.30pm) as he is joined by Torun GP winner Niels-Kristian Iversen, Freddie Lindgren and Chris Harris. World U21 bronze medalist Robert Lambert is also included in the 16-strong field as is reigning British champion Danny King and 7-times British champion Scott Nicholls.
BSPA Chairman Buster Chapman is anticipating an unmissable night of action in their final major event of the year.
Said Chapman: "It's a very good line-up for what is still a very prestigious title, and I for one am very much looking forward to this meeting.
"We have reduced admission prices from last year's levels as a way to say thank you to our fans for their loyal support of British speedway throughout the season.
"We have a good combination of top Grand Prix riders and some very popular club riders who I'm sure will put on a good show for the supporters.
"Obviously from my own point of view, with my King's Lynn hat on, we have Niels-Kristian Iversen, winner of the Grand Prix in Torun at the weekend, and Robert Lambert, third in the World Under 21 Championship.
"I'm sure it will be a super night and as the final major event of the Elite League season I'd urge everyone to come along and support it."
Admission has been priced at £20 for adults and £15 for concessions, whilst accompanying kids go FREE!
There will also be an autograph session from 6.30-7pm in the understand bar along with a bouncy castle and face painting.
