KURTZ COLLECTS FOURTH PLACE AGAIN

A fall in the Grand Final of the second round of the Australian Championship, held at Undera cost Brady Kurtz dearly.

The Pirates' new recruit for 2016 had topped the leaderboard from the heats with 14 points, beaten only by eventual round winner Nick Morris. With four straight wins to complete his programmed rides Kurtz, along with Mason Campton (12)  and Morris (12) were routed direct to the final, whilst Sam Masters joined them once he had won the B final from Max Fricke, Jack Holder and Brodie Waters.

The meeting saw withdrawals by Josh Grajczonek (after 1 ride), Kieran Sproule (2 rides), Justin Sedgmen (3 rides) and Cooper Riordan (3 rides).
