PIRATES DECLINE PREMIERSHIP KO CUP INVITATION
Poole Speedway has made the decision not to participate in the 2025 Premiership Knockout Cup. While the invitation was both unexpected and exciting...
The Management of Poole Speedway would like to express their wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all supporters, sponsors, staff and riders
"Without a doubt 2015 has been a very tough season for the club but in the face of adversity we still managed to achieve our goals" stated Poole boss Matt Ford. "But that would not have been possible without the great 'family' we have at Poole Speedway. Our supporters are superb, sponsors fantastic and backroom staff totally dedicated. The on-track team of 2015 really rallied to the call after the terrible news of August 23rd when Darcy suffered his crash and ensured that we had some good news to finish the season on with that awesome third-in-a-row league title achievement."
"I, and the rest of my management team hope that everyone associated with the club has a peaceful and pleasant Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year and all that remains for me to say is that we will be even more driven for 2016."
The Pirates have already confirmed that their 2016 season will commence on Wednesday March 16th with the hosting of the first leg of the Elite Shield against Coventry with the return 48 hours later.
