Poole duo Maciej Janowski and Vaclav Milik could benefit tonight from some pre-play-off practice at King's Lynn when they line-up in the Elite League Riders' Championship (7.30pm)
The event, re-allocated to the Norfolk Arena after originally being scheduled for an early season staging at Coventry, features riders from each Elite league club, although with injuries, suspensions and other engagements will feature a much changed line-up.
Defending champion Rory Schlein will be seeking his third ELRC title having won it for the first time back in 2011.
The Pirate pair will return to Norfolk on Monday night for the first leg of the Elite league play-off semi-finals, Poole having chosen to ride against King's Lynn and will be joined be fellow ELRC competitor Danny King who will deputise for Darcy Ward. With Josh Grajczonek sidelined due to a broken left collarbone sustained during the Premier League Riders' Championship. King's Lynn have booked Belle Vue's Scott Nicholls as their cover for the injured Niels-Kristian Iversen.
