The Darcy Ward support fund is set to get a huge boost when Poole Speedway bring the curtain down on the 2015 season with a special challenge fixture between a Maciej Janowski select and Team Monster.
To be staged on Wednesday 7th October the meeting has already attracted the attentions of Greg Hancock and Bjarne Pedersen, both of whom have agreed to ride and it will also feature the first competitive appearances of Jack Holder and Brady Kurtz at the Wimborne Road at the Wimborne Road circuit.
Matt Ford has confirmed that Poole Speedway will be underwriting all the staging costs for this meeting thus allowing all admissions to be go directly into the Darcy Ward fund.
"We will be announcing other riders in due course but with Magic and Chris locking horns as rival captains and the likes of Greg and Bjarne returning to Wimborne Road I think this is going to be a very special night.
"It will be our last meeting in what has proven to be a very tough season mentally for so many since that awful news of August 23rd and I would appeal to all fans to turn out in force and make this a memorable meeting.
