SEMI FINALS FOR SCOTTYDOG
9/01/15BDO number 4 seed Scott "Scotty Dog" Mitchell has progressed to the semi-finals of the World Championships being held at the Lakeside Country Club, Frimley Green following a 5-2 set victory over Yorkshireman Brian Dawson.
In the best of 9 set quarter final, the first on the oche today (Friday) Mitchell, a massive supporter of the Poole Pirates, extended his best ever run in these championships and now awaits his semi-final opponent - the winner of Robbie Green (England) or Jeff Smith (Canada).
The semi-final will be held on Saturday and will be over 11 sets.
