PIRATES DECLINE PREMIERSHIP KO CUP INVITATION
Poole Speedway has made the decision not to participate in the 2025 Premiership Knockout Cup. While the invitation was both unexpected and exciting...
Kacper Gomolski claimed his place in this year's GP Challenge which will be held in his native Poland on September 5th.
Having scored 8 points from his qualifying rides in a rain-delayed Terenzano, Italy meeting, Gomolski found himself in joint 6th place with Swedish duo Freddie Lindgren and Kim Nilsson which forced a run-off to determine which two riders would book their places in the Rynbnik SGP challenge which ultimately leads to a permanent berth in the 2016 SGP series.
In the heats Gomolski had already beaten Nilsson but had lost out to Lindgren and the same happened in the run-off but that was enough for Gomolski to secure his place in the September meeting.
Britain's Chris Harris also qualified along with the two Pawlicki brothers, home favourite Nico Covatti and Vaclav Milik.
Scorers:- N.Covatti 14; Pi.Pawlicki 12; Pr.Pawlicki 12; V.Milik 11; C.Harris 9; F.Lindgren 8+3; K.Gomolski 8+2; K.Nilsson 8+1; M.Vaculik 7; M.Jepsen Jensen 7; J.B.Monberg 5; M.Smolinski 5; J.Pavlic 5; M.Fricke 4; S.Masters 4; D.Bellego 1.
