Regional law firm Trethowans are breaking new ground in their 150th year as they have embarked on a sponsorship deal with the Pirates.
The company has given the team its financial backing for 2016 as part of a mission to support the local community in 150 different ways in its 150th year. The deal marks Trethowans’ first foray into motorcycle sponsorship.
Managing partner Chris Whiteley said: “Although the firm is celebrating its 150th year we’re showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, we’re ramping up our work in the region and determined to help even more businesses and individuals who need us. We’re delighted to be able to sponsor Poole Pirates and look forward to cheering them on throughout the season.”
Poole Pirates promoter, Matt Ford, added: “Sponsorship is vital to us as a team and allows us to concentrate on the season at hand, rather than worrying about securing the funding we need.
"I'm extremely proud to announce that Trethowans Solicitors have joined The Pirates as a club partner. Specialising in all aspects of law, with branches covering the south coast in Poole, Salisbury and Southampton we look forward to a long and fruitful association.
I would like to pass my congratulations to all at Trethowans who are remarkably celebration 150 years in law. Welcome on board !!"
Trethowans opened an office in Poole in October last year, after merging with local law firm Dickinson Manser.
Commercial clients include international and national household brand names, owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and major regional employers across the UK. The legal teams also work with individuals, such as landowners, local families, property developers and trustees.
