SATURDAY MEETING POSTPONED Plymouth v Poole BSN Southern

Finalisation of the the BSN Southern Group has been delayed by a week after Pirates' trip to Plymouth, scheduled for today (25th May) was postponed due to the weather. The meeting has swiftly been rescheduled to Saturday 1st June with a 7pm start. 

Needing just the aggregate bonus point to ensure top spot in the BSN Southern group and a place in the semi-finals, Poole will take a 32-point lead to Devon for their concluding group fixture.

After producing a clinical performance to crush the Gladiators on Friday night, the 'Wessex Marine' Pirates will be looking to do a containing job at the very minimum.

Dane Tobias Thomsen, who will be making his debut at the Coliseum admitted "Having seen footage of the track I can't say that I am particularly looking forward to going there as it seems a bit boring to ride but it is what it is we just got to go there and get the job done. We have a good result behind us so can go there with confidence."
